DUQ is a platform that connects performers, hosts, and venues for karaoke and live performance events. Our Service includes:

Event creation and management for hosts
Performance queue management
User registration and profile management
Communication tools between performers and hosts
Payment processing for events and services

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate and current
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use our Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

Third-Party Services: Our Service may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability or content of such services.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, DUQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DUQ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DUQ operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under law.

Your stage name or username
Any additional account identifiers you remember
Confirmation that you want to permanently delete all your data

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, we will permanently remove:

Your account information (email, stage name, phone number, profile)
Profile pictures and uploaded content
Performance history and queue entries
Reaction history and preferences
Communication history and support tickets
OAuth authentication data (Google/Facebook connections)
Marketing preferences and newsletter subscriptions

Processing Timeline

Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days
Processing: Account deletion will be completed within 30 days of verification
Confirmation: You will receive final confirmation when deletion is complete

Important Notes

Irreversible: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
Active Shows: If you're currently part of active shows, please coordinate with hosts before deletion
Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., financial records for tax purposes)
Third-Party Services: You may need to separately revoke access to Google/Facebook in their settings

Alternative Options

Before requesting full deletion, consider these alternatives:

Account Deactivation: Temporarily disable your account while preserving data
Data Export: Request a copy of your data before deletion
Selective Deletion: Remove specific information while keeping your account

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DUQ regarding the use of our Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and DUQ relating to your use of the Service.
